Sounds 'Round Town

Brought together by celebrated new-music festival Sounds from the Other City and outdoor performance specialists Walk the Plank, in collaboration with Irlam & Cadishead Festival and Stage Directions, Sounds ‘Round Town is a brand new music tour of Salford’s neighbourhoods.

Each day over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, the tour will roll into a new location across the city – with a pop-up programme of live music, DJs, workshops and activities in tow.

The weekend party will feature DJ’s Levi Love and Mama Char, a musical story by the BBC Philharmonic, soulful blues from the NIA Choir, and Danny Henry’s Dance Out interactive percussion show. Join host Ames Pennington and an array of musicians and performers as we take Sounds ‘Round Town!
